Another Boring day

*Bored*

Waiting for time to pass, been surfing aimlessly, transferring images from my sharp to my toshiba, i even wrote down my time-table in my planner. AND.. i realise that, after 5 weeks of studies, we will have "deadlines" to meet almost every week. From August all the way till October!

I've craving for pratas!! Especially after my work, i will feel hungry, feel like munchin something. But time and again, i will not allow myself to do it cos i've got a figure to keep. *grinz* Gona watch tonight with Jo! Been hearing that the guys in the movie very shuai, very cool.. but i go for the SPEED and DRIFTING!! Just love the feeling behind wheels i guess. ;)

Past Memories

Past Memories

How many of you actuali read ur past entries in ur blog and reminiscing them in ur mind? Well, i did it today! It's amazing how much i actuali wrote for the past years. (Started my blog @ xanga on Oct 2003) As i scroll back to the different times in my life, it feels as if im watching a video tape of myself. Rewinding, Stop and play. Can sense the smile on my face as i looked at some of the entries. Names that i've mentioned, some i've lost contact with, some still very dear to me. Things that i've done, i cannot imagine i actuali did them. Photos i've uploaded brings back many memories.

So is having a blog a good thing? To me it is. I'm so lazy to pen my thoughts down and furthermore, i love memories! If i were to keep diary, more space will be taken up to store them instead. Our brain is only that "big", you can't possibly remember everything that happened in your life. I always take a bloody long time to write one entry, cos to me, IT IS my diary. It will be something that i look back in time to come and smile at the silly things that i did. I just hope they won't remove Xanga or Blogspot from the web! It's all in the net! No hard-copies!

Been working almost every night at the Safari, it's gona continue till the end of the month, all the way till my sch reopens on the 4th of July. I guess it's gona be so for quite some time cos i've my big saving plan on-going. I should really get started with my Eng script too even though i really suck at memorizing things. To earn that extra $1.50, u just have to be really hard working i guess.

Dad asked me to help him write a marketing plan. I'm as lost as him too! What marketing plan? DId i learn that? *smile sheepishly* Isit the 4Ps? or 8Ps? SWOT analysis? PEST analysis? Target market? Oh man, i really need to refer my old notes. I hope i didn't make a mistake in choosing Marketing as my specialization. *laugh* Guess i will help him tmr... it's almost 4am now and the Zzz monster is attacking. *oink-oink*

I like the colour, like the picture, but i can't get the things fitting into the position i want them to be! *irritated* Think im gonna need some "expert" advice from carol when she got back from her Artysy camp. At the mean time, this is how it looks like....

Daejanggeum

Daejanggeum (in Korean) aka Da Zhang Jing (in Chinese) aka Jewel in the Palace (in English)

Val is hooked into this korean drama recently after it has been lying at her house, gathering dust for a few months. I believe it was very popular back then and she could have finished it, if only she didn't thought it's juz another boring drama. hahaz.... Well, it's 70 episodes in total. If she's hardworking, she can finished it within a week by watching 10 each day. hahhahaz... I've watched till episode 15 only i think... made me realise that koreans don't only eat kimchi for their meal. They do hv lots of other delicacy!

And that kuku VaL have to keep telling me that all the females in the drama looks the same and same goes to the guys. The only difference among the females were the way they bun up their hair and the clothing colour. For the males only the different colour robes helps her to identify who is who. *bang VaL's head against the wall* Still say all of them went to the same plastic surgery that's why all look the same. *fell off from the chair*

To VaL: I hope u'll be able to recognize who is who by the 10th epidsode. If not u can bring me ur dvd so i can help u watch instead.

To the rest: Below is a simple synopsis, a true story about the 1st female physician in the Korean History to serve the king.

The drama series "Daejanggeum", like other famous historical TV drama series such as "Heojun" and "Sangdo", has a similar storyline: the main character, despite many difficulties, overcomes them all and works one's way to success. What is outstanding about Daejanggeum is that the main character is a woman while the setting is in Joseon Dynasty, where the social role of women was very low. The character overcomes her difficulties through hard work. This is why the story is different from the others. The main character, Seo Janggeum, spends her childhood with her parents in a town for butchers. Her parents live in the town secretly and avoid people because they were involved in a scandal. One day, there is an incident in which the king kills many of his servants, and Janggeum has to part with her father while her mother dies. She enters the palace when she is 10 years old, and works hard to become the best cook in the palace. However others plot against her and her teacher and mentor, Han. They are expelled from the palace and relegated to become maidservants at local government offices. Janggeum is sent to Jeju where she learns about medicine. She later enters the palace again, and becomes the very first female doctor in the palace. She is the first woman in the history of Joseon Dynasty to become the king's doctor. In an ancient record called Jungjongsilloc, "dae (great)" was included in her name when she was referred to, and this shows the accomplishments she has made.

one of the sets.. very beautiful rt.... can see more in the drama, or visit these sites => KNTO or Official Site

that's the portion for one person at the royal palace... geez... can be my 3 meals!

Had mini primary class gathering at MSN chat today... it was really fun whenever such things happened. Text was flooding the whole window, u can't be lagging any second cos when u're back moments later, u realise u've missed out a whole lot and it's impossible to catch up unless u scroll up. It's hilarious! I was arrowed the most tonite. Kept getting remarks that i was dao and fierce when i was in Primary school. That i was in the bad books of everybody.... *grinte teeth* But seriously, it brought back memories. The good old days when we still have talent time, prefect duties to carry out during recess, hop-scotch, five stones and many more. Classmates that use to fight with each other became good frds now, rival class that we used to hate so much became buddies. We've all grown, some got attached, some became more manly. But the conversation we had just now brings us all back to how we used to speak to each other in primary school. Childish and full of crap! hahahhaz... can't wait to meet up with all of them again.

Khoon Li! First thing to do wen u get back! Go arrange with Asrie a 6G gathering!

Stolen Entry

Stolen Entry

Stole this entry from one of my frd's blog... hope she don't mind (she kinda stole some parts from others too..hahaz.. sama sama lah) :P Shared the same sentiments with her so i decided to share it here.

"saw this on ash's blog, stolen parts for him.

No person will purposely have a change of heart. At the point in time when he loves you, he really loves you. But when he doesn't love you anymore, he really doesn't love you anymore. When he loves you, he can't pretend that he doesn't.

Same goes, when he loves you no more, there is no way he can pretend he loves you. When a person doesn't love you and wants to leave you, you must ask yourself if you still love him. If you also don't love him anymore, don't ever not let him leave just to save your pride.

If you still love him, you should wish him happiness, and hope that he will be with the one he loves most, not stop him from it. If you stop him from finding true happiness with the one he loves, it shows you already don't love him. And if you don't love him, what rights do you have to blame him for a change of heart?

Love is not possessive. If you like the moon, you can't just take it down and put it in your basin. But the moonlight still shines upon you. In other words, when you love a person, you can use another method of possessing the person. Let him become a permanent memory in your life.
When you really love a person, you cannot find a reason why you love him, you only know that no matter when and where, good mood or bad mood, you will wish to have this person be with you.

Being away from each other is a type of test. If the relationship isn't strong, then you can only admit defeat.

Real love will never become hate... "

Goin Crazy

Feelings High and Low

One moment, i felt terrible... like the whole world is going tru dooms day. Next moment, my mood hits the happy zone. Im super hyper yesterday! Energetic at home (did the laundry, iron clothes) Energetic at work, Energetic back home after work! Can't slp till abt 4 plus in the morning.

Today, i hit the rock bottom again... all of a sudden wen i get back from supper. *weird* Must be that jake who hits my bad mood button. Arrghhhh...

Frds coming back from Aussie, UK for their summer holidays. Goin overseas study is such a norm nowadays. It's just like goin across the causeway. But i guess it's an opportunity for anyone to experience the life on the other side, widen ur horizon so to speak. Hopefully i will be on the other side come next yr. So it's a big big saving plan for me now. That means less goin out, less makan outside, less everything. (If i can help it, and i really must. >_<)

Nevertheless, went to watch Mr and Mrs Smith juz now with Jo. V hilarious dialogues and the fighting scene btw Jolie and Brad is really entertaining! U'll never see such "fighting" among normal couples. But u noe how the story goes, always happy ending. *boring* I like this part from Jolie thou, she said, "If there's anywhere I would rather be... it's here.. with you." I guess that's the only "touching" part in the entire movie. haa...

Met up with Jimmy, Ray and 2 other frds after the movie. Dad gave me lots of freedom now. Still remember i used to ask his permission to go out at night and all, what happen now is, "Dad, i'm goin out." He will still be up when i get back, to see tt i'm safely home, *smile* tt's him, i'm his little girl afterall.

Troubled

Troubled

Have you ever feel troubled but duno what u're troubled at? That's what i'm feeling right now. All of a sudden, my good feelings are gone, my moodiness came and i feel despair. Gosh... what is happening to me. I wish i could go drive myself somewhere and have some fresh air. It feels like all the four walls are crushing in on me and i could hardly breathe.

Was at church today. The sermon was good and i think i will download it from the web for future reference. Why is it the future? Well, Rev John Ting spoke about marriage, (not applicable to me now, definitely the future!) and the examples given were so true that every couple will definitely see them in their married life. I believe through his message, every couple will learn to be submissive and love sacrificially just as God love us sacrificially. Bible study will start in July again, i've been giving serious thoughts in joining Jo's bible study. Guess the answer is clearer and clearer as i pray to God everyday. So Jo, am i welcome? heee..

My dad turned 53 on the 18th of June! Happy Birthday dad!! We went Little India for curry fish head but the food at Gayathri is not that nice. I still prefer that Apollo Banana Leaf that Mr Ong brought us during our excursion. Still, we finished our food cos we're all hungry!! I've been skipping breakfast and lunch and only have one meal a day. Guess it's not healthy after all... who want to take care of me please raise ur hands! *giggles*

Alrt, should turn in to my pig style now. Gotta head back to JB tmr morning to celebrate Father's day and Granny bday. After that will have to rush back to spore cos i'm working at nite. *tired*

Racist

Me? Racist?

I was being called racist last nite at work... by a CHINESE. That's like the most ridiculous thing that i've ever heard. Just because i asked him to walk a tiny winnie bit longer down the line, he said tt im racist.

Here's the story...

Guests enter the snake queue and i release some of the guests from the back so they won't have to walk so much. When the last carriage section is full, i usher "HIM" towards the front, so i can slot them in infront. (guests infront of him were mostly indians) And that's where the trouble begins... he started shouting, saying that i look at skin colour, make him walk so far, etc. It's like the most stupideous thing a man could say, trying to act "Hero" infront of his CHINA gf, making a scene. If he think logically, even if i let him follow the queue, he will still have to walk that distance. Such an arse... keep insisting that i racist.. even if i'm racist, i will also give priviledge to CHINESE cos im one, and not to those INDIANS. I dun hv affection for Indians u noe... irritating! Spoilt my day at work.

Got my time-table for my new sch term today. 4 days a week, one lesson per day, 3 hrs each, and most of my tuesdays are free. Not a fantastic time-table thou, cos i hv noon lessons which are from 2 to 5pm. Not here, not there, hanging in the middle...

Anyway, they do hv this programme that allows student to finish their last semester in Aussie. Will get more details abt it and start planning. Can't wait for sch to start and maybe join their orientation and hv some fun. Probably can even revolutionize the student council! hahaz..

SO much about the things tt i've planned. Well, it's a new beginning! Therefore, Behold the Brand new Prisc.

Ideas for new room

Dreams...

I'm gona move out by Oct... from woodlands to woodlands. Dun give me that queer look, i'm really shifting just across the street. Dun ask why, it's strictly confidential...lolz... Anyhow, i've been reading up on design books, window shopping, surfing to get more ideas for my new room. It's time to put my bad habits behind and give my room a new look! Went to Ikea during my stay in States and saw this particular bed frame that i like, but it's not selling in Spore. I hope this design will come in their next season thou... cos i really like it.

There are so many things that i would like to have and do but it all cost money. I wonder when can i ever start saving. All that i've saved are used for things that i want or go for holiday trips. It's really not healthy for my bank account. Maybe i should just lock myself at home and only go out for work and school.

Dad went for a short holiday in KL, so it's home alone again! Guess i need to clean the house and unpack my bags today. Have to kick that lazy habit of my and start doing something useful.

*Carol dear, Big THANKS! U know what i mean.*

Future plans

*scratch head*

A lot of things goin tru my mind now... can't really put them in order cos it's just like those annoying pop-up ads from your windows, keep popping up. During one month in States, i did some soul-searching, had many slpless nites. How i wish i can share with someone, but only to realise that i'm all alone. I started to pray, prayers can really do wonders and I'm grateful that God is with me all the time. Therefore, i'm able to enjoy my holidays, did lots of shopping and spent some quality time with my aunt and granny.

There're some changes wen i returned from states, but if anyone asked me to choose again to go or not to go. I will choose to go states and not stay behind. Cos i realise, it doesn't change anything even if i don't go, why not give myself a break and hv some great time over there. (and i really really love travelling too!)

I'm still waiting for some explanation, i hate to be left hanging there. Busy has always been the excuse, even at times like now. Can u spare some tots for me too...

___________________________________________________________________

I've been thinking, do one yr of my studies in spore and one yr in aussie. Always wanted to go overseas to study but am tied down financially. If RMIT really allows, maybe i can work something out. Val u interested? *smile* Wed wakeboarding confirm yeah! I'm not working that day, it's such a perfect timing. *grinz* It's time to get my lazy bum some exercise, but i noe it'll be hell the next day. *frown*

Anyone have lobang for external cd-drive? cd/dvd-rw... and u peeps hv to wait a while before i load those pics up.. it's really too many lah... =P The weather is so hot, it sorta slow down all my movements... arrgghhh!!! I miss the comfy weather in LA!
